Royal Challenge whisky launched in Nepal

Nepal Liquors officially launched its latest alcoholic beverage, the Royal Challenge whisky, this week. The new black and red clutter-breaking look is more distinctive, premium, masculine and bold.

“Apart from the deep and intensely smooth blend of scotch and premium Indian grains in Royal Challenge whisky, American charred oak casks are used for ageing, during which it gains color and flavor from the caramelized sugars in the charred wood,” says Rajesh Prakash, general manager for sales and marketing at Nepal Liquors Pvt Ltd. “This infuses the whisky with a unique taste.”

Royal Challenge is priced at Rs1,360 for 750ml, Rs680 for 375ml and Rs340 for 180ml. Rajesh Bir Singh Tuladhar has recently acquired the shares of Nepal Liquors Pvt Ltd (formerly known as United Spirits Nepal Pvt Ltd) from United Spirits Ltd and became its executive chairman.
