Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has directed concerned authorities to close all the mobile apps being operated illegally to trade crypto currency.
NTA has sent a letter to internet service providers to implement the decision.
In the letter, the NTA said that crypto currency, bitcoin, hyper networking and online gambling among others should be banned in Nepal.
Earlier, Nepal Rastra Bank had urged all and saundry to remain vigilant saying that the business of networking marketing and cryptocurrency was increasing of late.
