13 more TB cases reported in Kaski Prison

Thirteen more people have been diagnosed with tuberculosis at Kaski Prison. During the lab tests of 733 samples, 13 more cases of the TB were found. Prior to this, the Prison reported four TB cases.

According to jailor Bhimraj Koirala, 36 samples have been sent to the TB center for the tests.

The prison administration has ensured an isolation facility for the infected and they are under medication since the diagnosis. The test among the prisoners was assisted by the Japan-Nepal Health and Tuberculosis Research Association (JANTRA).
