A toddler died after being hit by a jeep in Hetauda of Makwanpur on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as two-year-old Samar Lo of Simaltar. The jeep (Pradesh 03-001Cha 1597) hit him this morning.

Critically injured in the incident, he breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Hetauda Hospital.

Police said that they have impounded the vehicle and arrested its driver for investigation.
