Nepse surges by 49. 09 points on Tuesday

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 49. 09  points to close at 2,677. 45 points on Tuesday.

Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 8. 68 points to close at 451. 01 points.

A total of 16,888,459-unit shares of 310 companies were traded for Rs 7. 31 billion.

Meanwhile, Sindhu Bikash Bank Ltd (SINDU), Saptakoshi Development Bank Ltd (SAPDBL) were the top gainer today, with its price surging by 10. 00 percent.

Likewise, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) was the top loser as its price fell by 3. 09  percent.

At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 1. 49 trillion.
