The government has allocated Rs 7.72 billion for the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
Presenting the budget for the fiscal year in the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Thursday, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel informed that Rs 7. 72 billion has been allocated for the Communications Ministry.
He said that artificial intelligence (AI) will also be brought into use for business promotion.
Similarly, the Minister also said that a policy will be formulated to prevent the illegal export of mobile phones and regulate OTT services.
