Eight people were injured after a man allegedly set them on fire during a pro-Israel rally at Pearl Street Mall in the United States.
The FBI is treating the incident as a suspected act of terrorism. The attacker, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, an Egyptian national whose US visa expired in 2023, reportedly shouted “Free Palestine” while using Molotov cocktails and a makeshift flamethrower against demonstrators, BBC reported.
Soliman is in custody. Israel's Foreign Minister condemned the incident, describing it as an antisemitic terror attack on Jews.
