Six bodies were found in Chuchhepati-based Bhatbhateni Supermarket.
The identities of the deceased are yet to be established.
The bodies were found while cleaning the supermarket building, which was destroyed by arson during the Gen Z protests.
District Police Office, Kathmandu spokesperson Apil Raj Bohara informed that six bodies were found inside the building.
According to him, the bodies have been sent to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem.
The supermarket was completely destroyed by the fire.
