Houthis say Israeli airstrikes in Yemen killed 46, including media staff

Yemen’s Houthi group reported that 46 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Sanaa on Wednesday, including 26 local media workers. The strikes destroyed the offices of newspapers 26th September and Al-Yemen in central Sanaa, according to Al Jazeera.

Houthi-run health authorities said 165 others, including women and children, were injured. Footage aired by al-Masirah TV showed damaged residential buildings and rescue operations.

Israel stated it targeted military camps, Houthi PR offices, and fuel storage in response to drone and missile attacks. Houthi officials vowed retaliation while pledging continued attacks on Israel until the Gaza war and blockade end, Al Jazeera reported.
