Government declares public holiday on September 17 to mourn loss of lives in Gen Z protests

The government has decided to observe a national day of mourning on September 17.

Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal

said that the Cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to declare a public holiday on September 17 to observe the day.

He said that the national flag will be lowered on that day.
