Annapurna Media Network Chairman Captain Rameshwar Thapa has been bereaved of his mother on Sunday.

His mother Suryakumari Thapa breathed her last during the course of treatment at the Nepal Police Hospital, Maharajganj in Kathmandu.

She was suffering from asthma for a long time.

Suryakumari is survived by two sons and two daughters.

Among the two sons, Captain Thapa is the eldest one while Ramesh Thapa, the youngest son, is the SSP of Nepal Police.

According to a family source, her funeral rites will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat.
