The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 18. 40 points to close at 2, 487. 17 points on Thursday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 1. 73 points to close at 435. 29 points.

A total of 7,643,635-unit shares of 311 companies were traded for Rs 1. 41 billion.

Meanwhile, Himalayan Power Partner Ltd. (HPPL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 9. 93 percent.
Likewise, Samaj Laghubittya Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SAMAJ) was the top loser as its price fell by 10. 00 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 1. 41 trillion.
