Two persons died when a tractor and a motorcycle collided with each other at Kuyapani in Parshuram Municipality-9, Dadeldhura on Saturday. . 

Bike rider Naveen Saud (27) and pillion rider Man Jagri (34) of ward 12 in the same municipality, died in the accident, according to District Police Chief Barun Bahadur Singh.

Seriously injured in the incident, both were declared dead upon arrival  at Jogbudha Hospital for treatment. The accident occurred when the tractor (Se 2Ta 1474) heading towards Gaibadhe collided head-on with the motorcycle (Ma 1Pa 9973) along the Jogbudha-Daiji road section yesterday. 

Tractor driver Suresh Bhatta of Parshuram Municipality fled the scene after the accident.

Police said that a search operation is underway to nab him for necessary investigation and action.
