Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal and former Deputy Prime Minister, Upendra Yadav Chairman registered his nomination for the  March 5 elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) from Saptari-3. 

Yadav had contested in the previous election from the electoral constituency 2 in the same district. 

He was defeated by Janamat Party leader CK Raut.
