A man died in a syringe attack in Bhadrapur Municipality-10, Satrabighe, Jhapa. 

The deceased has been identified as local Khem Dhakal. 

According to the District Police Office, Jhapa, a group of unit persons attacked Dhakal while he was returning home from a neighbour's house on Thursday evening. 

He was seriously injured in the attack and died on the way to the hospital. 

Police have arrested 26-year-old Dipesh Kumar Singh of Siraha on suspicion of his involvement in the attack, police spokesperson Khagendra Bahadur Khadka informed. 

The substance used in the syringe has not yet been ascertained yet, according to the police.
