An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale jolted Sankhuwasabha district on Sunday. 

The tremor occurred at 7: 31 am with its epicenter near Ritak in Bhotkhola Rural Municipality of the district, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, Lainchaur.
