The ballot boxes from the concerned polling stations are being supplied to the Offices of the Returning Officers in Jhapa district. 

Following the conclusion of voting at 5 pm today, the Election Commission has begun transporting ballot boxes to counting centers

District Election Officer of Jhapa Tulsi Nepal said that vote counting will begin as per the decision of the all-party meeting that will take place after the collection of the entire ballot boxes.

Nepal added that vote counting will begin from midnight today.

As per the preliminary report, the district recorded nearly 65 percent voter turnout. 

According to the District Election Office, the voting concluded in all five constituencies in the district in a peaceful manner.
