Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidates have won the House of Representatives (HoR) elections from Kathmandu-10 and 7.
Pradeep Bista has won the election in Kathmandu-10. He received 37,469 votes.
His closest contender, Himal Karki of the Nepali Congress, received 8,100 votes according to the Office of the Election Officer.
Election Officer Amrita Kumari Sharma said 2,093 votes were invalid out of the total votes cast.
The newly elected MP Bista was born in 2031 BS in Kirtipur Municipality-4. He was also a candidate of Rastriya Swatantra Party in the previous House of Representatives election.
Similarly, RSP candidate Ganesh Prajuli has become victorious in the HoR election from Kathmandu-7.
According to the Election Commission, Parajuli has received 27,805 votes.
Election Officer Sabita Sharma said that Parajuli's closest contender, Pramod Hari Guragain of the Nepali Congress received 3,982 votes, Prakash Shrestha of the CPN-UML received 3,544, and Basant Prasad Manandhar of the Nepali Communist Party received 3,367 votes.
In that electoral constituency, 27 candidates, including various political parties, were contesting.
