Shahi of NCP elected HoR member from Kalikot

Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, the candidate from the Nepali Communist Party, has won the House of Representatives (HoR) Member election in Kalikot. According to the results of the election held on Thursday, Shahi won by securing 11,338 votes.

His closest competitor, Nagendra Shahi of the CPN-UML had received 10,352 votes while Harsha Bahadur Bam of the Nepali Congress had received 7,933 votes.

The Office of the Chief Election Officer, Kalikot, has reported that Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma of the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) received 4,599 votes, Prakash Neupane of the Rastriya Swatantra Party received 2,137 votes, and Nanda Bahadur Shahi of the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party received 597 votes.
