Candidates of Rastriya Swatantra Party have secured victory in both constituencies of Bhaktapur. Rukesh Ranjit won in Bhaktapur-1 while Rajiv Khatri won in Bhaktapur-2 with a huge margin.

In Bhaktapur-2, Khatri secured 33,013 votes after counting 5,022 votes while UML candidate Mahesh Basnet received 8,034 votes, and Nepali Congress’ (NC) Kabir Rana got 6,995 votes.

In Bhaktapur-1, Ranjit received 30,794 votes. Nepal Majdur Kisan Party Prem Suwal got 26,990 votes and NC candidate Kiran Neupane secured 3,969 votes.
