Nepali Congress's Bharat Bahadur Swar has won the House of Representatives election from Achham-1 by a small margin.
According to the Office of Election Officer, Swar defeated his closest contender Bhim Bahadur Rawal of the Nepal Communist Party by a margin of 526 votes.
Swar emerged victorious with 10,759 votes while Rawal received 10,233 votes.
Similarly, Deepak Bahadur Saud of the CPN-UML finished third with 7,389 votes while Rastriya Swatantra Party's Om Prakash Rawal got 1,739 votes.
