Nisha Dangi of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) emerged victorious in the House of Representatives (HoR) election from Jhapa 1 by getting 45,680 votes.
According to Returning Officer Gopi Bishwakarma, Dangi defeated Nepali Congress candidate Keshabraj Pandey, who secured 10,550 votes.
Likewise, Kebal Ram Rai of Shram Sanskriti Party got 10,004 votes and CPN-UML candidate Ram Chandra Upreti got 7,659 votes in the election held on March 5.
