RSP's Gauri Kumari elected in Mahottari-4

Gauri Kumari of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected from Mahottari 4 under the House of Representatives election.

According to Chief Election Officer Madhav Prasad Adhikari, as per the vote count concluded today in constituency 4, Gauri Kumari secured victory by receiving 30,132 votes.

The office of the Chief Election Officer stated that her competitor, Surendra Kumar Yadav, candidate of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), received 8,745 votes, Nilam Adhikari of the CPN-UML secured 6,944 votes, and Mahendra Kumar Rai of the Nepali Congress got 6,192 votes.
