Two persons died on the spot and four other sustained injuries in a jeep accident in Darchula on Tuesday.

The jeep (Su Pa Pra 01-001 Ja 1641) was heading towards Gokuleshwor from Osil when the incident occurred at Dekhala in Osil of Shailashikhar Municipality-4 this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Sub-Engineer Manisha Pal working at the Water Resources and Irrigation Division Office, Darchula and Bharat Titaro, an employee of the same office, said Gaurav Mahat, Chief at the District Police Office, Darchula.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
