The CPN-UML has announced a nationwide protest against the arrest of former Prime Minister and party chairperson KP Sharma Oli.

The protest is scheduled from April 7, according to the discussion that happened in the party’s central secretariat meeting.

Shankar Pokharel, General Secretary of the party said the party plans to organize demonstrations across municipalities, wards, and provinces, culminating in a major protest in the capital.

He informed that the large protest will take place in the capital, Kathmandu on April 25.
