A team from the Narcotics Control Bureau, Koteshwor, apprehended two individuals after opening fire from Pingalasthan-9 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City last night.

According to Superintendent of Police Durgaraj Regmi of the Narcotics Control Bureau, Koteshwor, police confiscated more than one kilogram of brown heroin from them.

Anil Kumar Paswan of around 30–35 years of age from Madhubani district in Bihar, was injured in the incident.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
