Police have arrested four people including a woman for their alleged involvement in murdering a police constable in Birganj.

The suspects have been identified as Santosh Sah (26) of Madhavnarayan Municipality-1 in Rautahat, his wife Soni Kumari Sah (24), Vishal Sah (19) of Baragadhi Municipality-7, and Om Bir Prajapati (21) of Delhi, India.

Police Constable Vikas Chaurasia (27) was beaten to death in a house behind the Consulate General of India in Birgunj Metropolitan City-9 Sripur on Sunday.

He was stationed at Chaurasia District Police Office,  Saptari. 

Chaurasia had come to his home in Parsa when the fatal attack took place.
