National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal left for Istanbul, Turkey today.
He is leading a parliamentary delegation to attend the 152nd General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
Chairman Dahal is scheduled to make a presentation on 'guarantee of peace and justice to the next generation' in the General Assembly slated from April 15 to 19, according to the federal parliament secretariat.
In the course of the visit, he will also hold bilateral meetings with chiefs of parliaments from various countries.
The Chairman will be addressing the fifth parliamentary network of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).
Spokesperson at parliament secretariat Ekaram Giri said that even the parliamentarians associated with Nepali delegation will attend the event.
The Dahal-led delegation is scheduled to return home on April 21.
