Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav at the latter's office in Lainchour.
During the meeting on Wednesday, they discussed the matters of Nepal-China relations based on peaceful co-existence, mutual respect and long-term friendship, economic cooperation and future collaboration, according to the office of the Vice President.
Praising the progress achieved by China in the last four decades, Vice President Yadav stressed on Chinese partnership in trade, tourism, infrastructure, energy and technology transfer between both countries.
Similarly, Chinese Ambassador Zhang mentioned that he was committed to take Nepal-China relations to a new height.
Sharing that China has given high-priority to the relations with Nepal, he opined that he would remain effortful for the prosperity of the people of both countries.
