The government has made extensive changes in taxes.

Presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle announced a personal income tax exemption of up to Rs 1 million.

Now, only one percent tax will be levied on personal income up to Rs 1 million rupees. Earlier, the limit was Rs 500, 000.
