The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 26. 72 points to close at 2, 755. 37 points on Monday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 4. 78 points to close at 470. 72 points.

A total of 13,383,816-unit shares of 349 companies were traded for Rs 1. 57 billion.

Meanwhile, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 14. 99 percent.

Likewise,  Bungal Hydro Limited (BUNGAL) was the top loser as their price fell by 13. 20 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 70 trillion.
