The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 2. 57 points to close at 2, 736. 17 points on Wednesday.  

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 0. 35 points to close at 468. 72 points.

A total of 9,283,326-unit shares of 356 companies were traded for Rs 1. 56 billion.

Meanwhile, Kalinchock Hydropower Limited (KHPL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 14. 99 percent.

Similarly, 10.25% Prabhu Bank Debenture 2086 (PBLD86) was the top loser as its price fell by 8. 71 points.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 67 trillion.
