The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 12. 96 points to close at 2, 685. 54 points on Friday.  

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 2. 44 points to close at 470. 13 points.

A total of 8,851,216-unit shares of 337 companies were traded for Rs 1. 55 billion.

Meanwhile, Everest Colour Limited (ECL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 14. 99 percent.

Likewise, Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Limited (BNT) was the top loser as their price fell by 5. 33 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 61 trillion.
