The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 0. 79 points to close at 2, 641. 85 points on Tuesday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 0. 85 points to close at 462. 22 points.

A total of 9,534,221-unit shares of 340 companies were traded for Rs 1. 53 billion.

Meanwhile, Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company Limited (ULHC) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 14. 99 percent.

Likewise, Mahila Lagubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBSL) was the top loser as their price fell by 14. 91 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 54 trillion.
