The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 0. 55 points to close at 2, 642. 40 points on Wednesday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 1. 39 points to close at 463. 61 points.

A total of 8,701,944-unit shares of 348 companies were traded for Rs 1. 53 billion.

Meanwhile, Mount Everest Power Development Limited (MEPDL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 15. 00 percent.

Likewise, 12% ICFC Finance Limited Debenture 2083 (ICFCD83) was the top loser as their price fell by 15. 00 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 54 trillion.
