Four persons, who died after being buried in a landslide at Kotalbara of Thawang Rural Municipality-5 in Rolpa on Wednesday night, have been identified. 

Police Inspector at Rolpa District Police Office, Krishna Shrestha, said that among the deceased identified are 18-year-old Shanti Pun Magar, 60-year-old Kamal Bahadur Pun Magar, 75-year-old Dal Bahadur Pun Magar, and 80-year-old Mankhana Pun Magar from Thawang Rural Municipality-5. 

Similarly, 22-year-old Himal Pun Magar and 25-year-old Sanjay Gharti Magar hailing from Thawang Rural Municipality-5, who were injured in the landslide, have been taken to Lumbini Provincial Hospital in Butwal for further treatment. 

According to Inspector Shrestha, 38-year-old Junkumari Pun Magar, nine-year-old Ashim Pun Magar, five-year-old Ashok Pun Magar, 80-year-old Ajambar Pun Magar, 80-year-old Bal Bahadur Pun Magar, 61-year-old Lil Bahadur Pun Magar, 66-year-old Mani Pun Magar, 85-year-old Hastakala Roka Magar, and 34-year-old Mahendra Gharti from Thawang Rural Municipality-5 have been missing. . 

Inspector Shrestha stated that the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police personnel with the help of locals are searching for the missing persons.
