UML General Secretary Pokharel casts vote

CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel cast his vote at the Janata Vidyapeeth polling center in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City–19, Dang. 

According to election officer Ashok Chaudhary, UML General Secretary Pokhrel, who is a candidate for the House of Representatives from Dang Constituency-2, exercised his voting rights at the (A) polling center of the school. 

Similarly, election officer Ramesh Ghimire informed that Nepali Congress leader Deepak Giri, who is a candidate from Dang Constituency-3, cast his vote at the (A) polling center of Baibang Basic School in Dangisharan Rural Municipality–4.

 

Chinese Ambassador Zhang meets foreign secretary Rai

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming held a meeting with Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday. 

During the meeting, they shared perspectives on enhancing bilateral relations and fostering cooperation between two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. 

The Chinese Ambassador noted on social media that a comprehensive dialogue took place regarding bilateral relations with the Foreign Secretary Rai, leading to an agreement to further broaden mutual cooperation.

Prime Minister Karki casts vote

Prime Minister Sushila Karki cast her vote at the Dhapasi Lower Secondary School Phaiamalchuli Voting Center in Kathmandu Constituency-5. 

Following her voting, she shared her thoughts with journalists, expressing her joy at the enthusiastic conduct of the elections. 

When asked about the elections occurring under her leadership, she remarked, "I have fulfilled my own duty; elections are taking place in the country, and I am extremely happy."

PM Karki calls for mandatory exercise of voting rights

Prime Minister Sushila Karki has called upon all voters to mandatorily exercise their voting rights. 

Today, via social media, she appealed to the general public to participate in the voting process, stating, "Esteemed sisters and brothers, today marks Fagun 21 (March 5), and I earnestly encourage you to visit the polling centers and cast your votes." 

Prime Minister Karki underscored the significance of each vote in shaping our future and expressed her appreciation to all voters for their patience and understanding during this peaceful electoral process.

 

 

 

 

NCP Coordinator Dahal casts ballot

Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal cast his vote at Nepal Police School polling Center in Shantipur, Ward No. 14, Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Chitwan. 

In a brief conversation with reporters after casting his vote, he voiced his optimism that the nation will progress towards prosperity following the elections. 

Dahal expressed his belief that voters will select candidates who prioritize the interests of the nation and its citizens. 

 

EC Commissioners cast vote

Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari exercised his voting rights at Milan Vidya Mandir located in Ward No. 29 of Kathmandu Constituency-1. 

Similarly, Election Commissioner Dr Janaki Kumari Tuladhar cast her vote at the Mahendra Secondary School Voting Center in Sundar Bazaar Municipality-2, Lamjung, while another Election Commissioner Sagun Shamsher JBR participated in the voting process at the Dhapasi Lower Secondary School Voting Center in Tokha Municipality-4.

RSP President Lamichhane, senior leader Shah cast ballots

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Party President Rabi Lamichhane cast his vote at the Kathmandu Upatyaka Drinking Water Limited (KUKL) Polling Center in Chucchipati. 

Prior to casting his vote, he addressed journalists, sharing his optimism that this election would pave the way for a political resolution in the country. 

President Lamichhane is a candidate for the House of Representatives elections from Chitwan Constituency-2. 

Similarly, senior leader Balendra Shah also cast his vote at the Annapurna School Polling Center in Gairigaun, Tinkune, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9. 

Former mayor of KMC, Sah is a candidate from Jhapa District Constituency-5. 

 

 

Ujyalo Party Nepal Chairman Ghising votes

Ujyalo   Nepal Party Chairman Kulman Ghising cast his vote at the Janakalyan Secondary School polling center, Mahankal in Kathmandu. 

He is running as a candidate for the House of Representatives (HoR) elections from Kathmandu Constituency-3. 

This electoral area has 64,479 registered voters.
