Liverpool signed off their Premier League title-winning season on Sunday with a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, as Mohamed Salah's late equaliser cancelled out Ismaila Sarr's opener at a jubilant Anfield, Reuters reported.

With the league wrapped up with four games to spare, Sunday's match was played in a celebratory atmosphere and Palace fans – still on a high from last weekend's FA Cup final triumph – joined in with an early chant of "champions".

"It's always special to win something, but at certain clubs maybe a little bit more," Liverpool boss Arne Slot said.

"I experienced this at Feyenoord where the fans are so passionate, and it's the same and more over here."

Sarr slotted home in the ninth minute after he was found in acres of space by Tyrick Mitchell, who had intercepted a loose pass from Conor Bradley, but conceding barely made a dent in the party, according to Reuters.

A rapid pair of goals by Robert Lewandowski early in the first half and a penalty by Dani Olmo deep in added time ensured a comfortable 3-0 victory for Barcelona over Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, ending the season on a high note for the LaLiga champions, Reuters reported.

With the title clinched more than a week ago, Sunday's match at San Mames stadium had little at stake for either side.

Barcelona ended their LaLiga campaign at the summit with 88 points, four ahead of Real Madrid, with Atletico Madrid third on 76 points. Athletic Bilbao and Villarreal round out the top five, ensuring their places in next season's Champions League.

They are followed by Real Betis and Celta Vigo who will represent Spain in the Europa League while eighth-placed Rayo Vallecano booked a spot in the Conference League, according to Reuters.

Israeli airstrikes killed at least six Palestinians guarding aid trucks against looters, Hamas officials said on Friday, as the head of the United Nations warned that only a "teaspoon" of aid was getting in following Israel's 11-week-long blockade, Reuters reported.

The Israeli military said 107 trucks carrying flour and other foodstuffs as well as medical supplies entered the Gaza Strip from the Kerem Shalom crossing point on Thursday, for a total of 305 since Monday when the blockade was relaxed.

But getting the supplies to people sheltering in tents and other makeshift accommodation has been fitful and U.N. officials say at least 500 to 600 trucks of aid are needed every day.

So far, an umbrella network of Palestinian aid groups said, 119 aid trucks have got past the Kerem Shalom crossing point and into Gaza since Israel eased its blockade on Monday in the face of an international outcry, according to Reuters.

Despite the relaxation of the blockade, distribution has been hampered by looting by groups of men, some of them armed, near the city of Khan Younis, an umbrella network representing Palestinian aid groups said.

North Korea has arrested a fourth official over the failed launch of a new warship that has enraged the country's leader, Kim Jong Un, BBC reported.

Ri Hyong-son, deputy director of the ruling Workers' Party's Munitions Industry Department, was "largely responsible for the serious accident" last week, state-run news agency KCNA said on Monday.

The 5,000-ton destroyer had tipped over and damaged its hull, in what Kim had described as a "criminal act" that "severely damaged the [country's] dignity and pride".

The vessel is being repaired under the guidance of an expert group, KCNA said, according to BBC.

US President Donald Trump has agreed to extend a deadline to negotiate tariffs with the European Union until 9 July, BBC reported.

It comes after President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said she had a "good call" with Trump on Sunday.

Last month, Trump announced a 20% tariff on most EU goods, but later halved it to 10% until 8 July to allow time for negotiations. On Friday, Trump expressed frustration with the pace of negotiations with the EU and threatened to impose 50% tariffs.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said Von der Leyen told him "we will rapidly get together and see if we can work something out", posting later on Truth Social that it was his "privilege to extend the deadline," according to BBC.

At least 24 Palestinians have been killed in two separate Israeli air strikes overnight, including a strike on a school sheltering displaced families in central Gaza, according to medics and civil defence officials, BBC reported.

The strike targeted Fahmi Al-Jargawi School in Gaza City, which had been housing hundreds of displaced people who fled the northern town of Beit Lahia, currently under intense Israeli military assault.

A spokesperson for Gaza's Hamas-run Civil Defence agency said 20 bodies, including children, were recovered from the school - many of them severely burned - after fires engulfed two classrooms turned into living quarters.

The Israeli military has been contacted for comment, according to BBC.

US President Donald Trump has said he is "not happy" with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, following Moscow's largest aerial attack yet on Ukraine, BBC reported.

In a rare rebuke, Trump said: "What the hell happened to him? He's killing a lot of people." He later called Putin "absolutely crazy".

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier said Washington's "silence" over recent Russian attacks was encouraging Putin, urging "strong pressure" - including tougher sanctions - on Moscow.

At least 12 people were killed and dozens injured in Ukraine overnight Sunday after Russia fired 367 drones and missiles - the highest number in a single night since Putin launched a full-scale invasion in 2022, according to BBC.

Four regular flights will operate weekly from Phaplu Airport in Salleri, the headquarters of Solukhumbu, to Kathmandu. 

Nepal Airlines has started operating four weekly flights on the route. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) informed that Nepal Airlines has run flights services on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. 

The Phaplu-Kathmandu air services that had been halted for a protracted time due to technical glitches with the aircraft, are now back in operations. 

According to senior official of CAAN in Phaplu, Bhanu Bhakta Acharya, the resumption of flights has been made possible after the maintenance of the aircraft. 

The flight that was in operation once a week was 'grounded', which resulted in suspension of Phaplu-Kathmandu services for a long time. 

According to station chief of the Nepal Airlines in Phalpu, Tenzing Sherpa, flight services on this route had remained completely disrupted since mid-December 2024 through mid-April 2025. 

Mahesh Adhikari, a local businessperson from Salleri, said, "With the resumption of regular flights, the compulsion to travel the disaster-torn 'BP Highway' to get to Kathmandu has ended. Yet, the air service must be regular and reliable, not just temporary". 

In the past, the disruption of flights caused several complications for travel, business, emergency treatment, and essential tasks. 

Karma Sherpa, senior vice president of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN), mentioned that tourism business operators are elated about the resumption of flights in the tourist district.
