Two boys drown in Sunsari
Two boys drowned while swimming in Mura rivulet at Jabdi, Sunsari on Saturday.
According to Yogendra Khatiwada, spokesperson at the District Police Office, the deceased have been identified as nine-year-old Yunish Khatri of Itahari-16 and 11-year-old Hem Bahadur (Bishu) Pariyar of Itahari-5.
A team led by Police Inspector Lekh Nath Dahal from Area Police Office, Pakali, reached the incident site soon after getting the information about the accident.
The team rescued both boys from the rivulet and took them to Sanvi City Hospital, Itahari, for treatment where the doctors declared them dead.
The bodies have been kept at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for post mortem.
Four of a family murdered in Bhojpur
Four members of a family were murdered at Dhodlekhani in Ram Prasad Rai Rural Municipality-2 of Bhojpur district on Saturday midnight.
Rajendra Rai (30) of Bhojpur Municipality-2 killed his 16-year-old wife Manisha Rai, 68-year-old father-in-law Bel Bahadur Giri, 45-year-old mother-in-law Manju Giri and nine-year-old brother-in-law Sapan Giri, said police.
According to Deepak Shrestha, Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Bhojpur, Rai himself called the police control room at 1:15 am and confessed to the crime.
Rai has also sustained deep abdominal injury.
The District Hospital has referred him for further treatment.
Police said that they are looking into the case.
The incident might have occurred due to a family dispute, according to police.

Israel to send negotiators to Gaza talks despite 'unacceptable' Hamas demands, PM says
Israel has decided to send a delegation to Qatar on Sunday for proximity talks with Hamas on the latest proposal for a Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal, BBC reported.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said he had accepted the invitation despite what he described as the "unacceptable" changes that Hamas wanted to make to a plan presented by mediators from Qatar, the US and Egypt.
On Friday night, Hamas said it had delivered a "positive response" to the proposal for a 60-day ceasefire and that it was ready for negotiations.
However, a Palestinian official said the group had sought amendments including a guarantee that hostilities would not resume if talks on a permanent truce failed, according to BBC.
Search for survivors continues as Texas floods kill 43, including 15 children
Hundreds of rescuers have been deployed to search for survivors in central Texas, after flash floods killed 43 people, including 15 children, BBC reported.
"The work continues, and will continue, until everyone is found," promised Larry Leitha, the sheriff of Kerr County.
As the search goes into a second night, county officials said 27 children remained missing from a Christian youth camp located along the river.
Some parents confirmed their child's death on social media. About 850 people have been rescued so far.
Multiple flash flood warnings remain in place over the weekend in central Texas, according to BBC.
Heavy rainfall likely at one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati Provinces
Currently, there is the influence of monsoon wind across the country.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, a low-pressure line of monsoon is located around the normal place.
The weather throughout the country is likely partly to generally cloudy in the afternoon as well as there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall coupled with thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
Similarly, heavy rainfall has been forecast at one or two places in the hilly region of Koshi and Bagmati Provinces.
The Division has predicted light to moderate rainfall as well as snowfall at one or two places of high-hilly and mountainous areas of the country.
Tonight, the sky in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces is likely generally cloudy while partly to generally cloudy in the rest of the provinces.

ACC Men's U-16 East Zone Cricket Cup: Nepal defeat Singapore by two wickets to lift title
Nepal clinched the title of ACC Men's U-16 East Zone Cricket Cup.
In the final match held at UKM Oval Cricket ground of Malaysia today, Nepal defeated Singapore by two wickets and won the title.
Chasing the 114-run victory target posted by Singapore, Nepal made it in 29 overs losing eight wickets.
For Nepal, Joy Thapa and Abhay Yadav contributed 24 runs, Shiwansh Bajgai 20 runs, Shubham Khanal 18 runs, Prasiddha Joshi 17 runs and Abhay 10 runs respectively.
Kapish Venkatraman of Singapore took four wickets while Yuvaan Pandey claimed two wickets, Vedansh Gupta and Akash Teja took one wicket each.
Earlier, winning the toss, Singapore chose to bat first. Singapore were limited to 113 runs in 40.5 overs losing all wickets.
Rohan Austin scored the highest 23 runs for Singapore while Riaan Naik made 15 runs, Vedansh Gupta 12 runs and Akash Teja 10 runs.
Other batters of Singapore except them failed to score in double digit.

Nagarik Unmukti Party withdraws support to Sudurpaschim government
The Nagarik Unmukti Party has decided to withdraw its support to the Sudurpaschim Province government.
The Parliamentary Party meeting held in Dhangadhi today made the decision to this effect after Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah dismissed Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Rameshwor Chaudhary, who was representing the party in the government.
Chief Minister Shah had dismissed Minister Chaudhary from his post on Thursday.
The decision to withdraw support was based on a communication received from the party's central leadership, said Parliamentary Party leader Ghanashyam Chaudhary.
The Nagarik Unmukti Party is the fourth largest party in the provincial assembly with seven members.
Despite the withdrawal of support by Nagarik Unmukti, the Kamal Bahadur Shah-led government still holds a majority.
In the 53-member Provincial Assembly, the ruling Nepali Congress has 18 members supported by CPN-UML with 11 members.
The main opposition CPN (Maoist Center) has 11 members, the CPN (Unified Socialist) has four (one suspended), one member is from RPP and one is an independent member.
