Vehicular movement along the Katunje-Mangaltar section of the BP Highway has been obstructed since this morning after continuous rainfall swept away diversions at different places. 

DSP Rabin Bista of the District Police Office said that efforts are being made to repair the diversions though it may take some time to resume traffic. 

The water level increased at Roshi river following the rainfall that had swept away diversions constructed earlier, he added. 

Meanwhile, police have halted vehicles at Kavrebhanjyang of Dhulikhel and Nepalthok of Sindhuli following the road obstruction. 

Police have requested not to travel along the section until next notice.
