A male rhino was found dead at Lokaha Syauli in Kawasoti Municipality-1, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta Purba) district.

Chief of Division Forest Office, Nawalpur, Bishnu Prasad Adhikari said that the rhino was found dead in a maize farm of local resident Bhim Bahadur Darjee. 

The horn and hooves of the adult rhino are kept safe.   

The reasons behind the death of the rhino have not been ascertained yet, as there are no injuries in the body parts of the rhino. 

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
