Newly appointed Chief Justice Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma assumed office today.
He took oath as the 33rd Chief Justice of Nepal before President Ram Chandra Paudel earlier today.
Dr Sharma's recommendation was approved by the Parliamentary Hearing Committee today itself.
He was recommended as the next Chief Justice by the Constitutional Council.
