Israeli Embassy celebrates 78th Independence Day in Nepal

The Embassy of Israel in Nepal celebrated the 78th Independence Day of Israel on Wednesday. 

High-ranking government officials, political leaders, members of the diplomatic corps, media representatives, and friends of Israel took part in the event. 

Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav,  was the Chief Guest of the event. 

On the occasion, Ambassador Shmulik Arie Bass stated that, “This occasion is not only a celebration of Israel’s national journey, but also a celebration of friendship, partnership, and shared aspirations between our two countries. From its earliest days, Israel has learned to transform limitation into innovation. This spirit of innovation has special meaning for Nepal,” the ambassador said.

“As Nepal’s new government sets its priorities for growth, job creation, digital development, agriculture, and opportunity for young people, Israel stands ready to contribute experience and cooperation. Our countries may be different in size and geography, but we share a common belief that progress comes through education, innovation, and resilience. Israeli experience in water management, agriculture, technology, and entrepreneurship can support Nepal’s national priorities in meaningful ways,” reads a statement issued by the Israeli Embassy in Nepal.
