Annapurna Media Network General Manager Manoj Basnet has been honored with a special Proclamation in recognition of his distinguished contributions to the Nepali community through journalism and the communications sector in New York.

Presented by Samuel Gonzalez, a legislator from Suffolk County, the proclamation praises Basnet for his significant role in expanding journalism skills and expertise within the Nepali and Hindu diaspora through the media industry for a long time.

Basnet has been serving as the General Manager of Nepal's prestigious and largest media house, 'Annapurna Media Network' (AMN), since July 2024. 

With over 18 years of experience in the communication sector, Basnet has expertise in news gathering, sales, distribution, market management, and corporate strategy.
