Congress candidate Acharya wins in Rasuwa

Nepali Congress candidate Mohan Acharya has won the House of Representatives election in Rasuwa.

He secured 10,656 votes, defeating Basanta Bhatta of the RSP, who received 5,571 votes.

UML candidate Prem Tamang came third with 4,688 votes.

RSP leads in Syangja-1

RSP candidate Dr. Dhananjay Regmi has maintained the lead in Syangja Constituency-1 as vote counting continues.

Regmi has secured 16,859 votes so far. Nepali Congress candidate Bharatraj Dhakal follows with 11,683 votes, while UML’s Min Prasad Gurung has received 10,299 votes.

Vote counting has finished in several municipalities, while counting continues in Biruwa Rural Municipality and is yet to begin in Putalibazaar Municipality.

RSP Bohara leads in Kanchanpur-2

RSP candidate Deepak Bohara is leading by a wide margin in Kanchanpur-2 after the latest vote count.

Bohara has secured 13,305 votes, while Nepali Congress candidate NP Saud has received 4,064 votes and UML’s Bachan Bahadur Singh 3,145 votes.

So far 25,760 votes have been counted, with Bohara leading Saud by 9,241 votes.

Rajunath Pandey wins Kathmandu-3

RSP candidate Rajunath Pandey has won the election from Kathmandu Constituency No. 3.

Pandey secured 18,757 votes to defeat Ujjalo Nepal Chairperson Kulman Ghising, who received 11,171 votes.

Nepali Congress candidate Ramesh Aryal got 6,000 votes, while CPN-UML’s Rameshwor Phuyal received 3,816 votes.
