Senior Director, Hikmat Singh Aiyar has been appointed as the acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Tourism Board. Aiyar was given the responsibilities at the head office on Monday by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
As Aiyar held his responsibility in the Board, Deepak Raj Joshi was relieved of his post. The ministry issued a statement saying Aiyar will be conducting daily administration, policy implementation, program coordinator and tourism promotion activities in the board.
Aiyar, previously worked in the tourism sector within the department for a long time and had leadership roles in different projects and programs of the board.
