The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 27. 49 points to close at 2, 745. 65 points on Friday.  

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 3. 24 points to close at 467. 33 points.

A total of 7,478,562-unit shares of 335 companies were traded for Rs 1. 56 billion.

Meanwhile, Trishuli Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (TVCL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 10. 00 percent.

Similarly, Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWBBL) was the top loser as its price fell by 6. 54 points. 

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 68!trillion.
