The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 30. 08 points to close at 2, 754. 48 points on Wednesday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 3. 68 points to close at 471. 06 points.

A total of 10,661,476-unit shares of 346 companies were traded for Rs 1. 56 billion.

Meanwhile, Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company Limited (ULHC) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 15. 00 percent.

Similarly, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) was the top loser as its price fell by 13. 26 points. 

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 69 trillion.
